We Need Your Help!

Ensuring access to high quality breast imaging services is critical for all women in our community. To this end, several groups of women need specific help in affording this service. In these tough economic times, many women do not have insurance or are underinsured and need the peace of mind to seek treatment without worrying if they can afford a breast care diagnosis. Many of these women would likely forgo care due to the cost factor and worrying how to pay for it. Delaying a diagnosis may be devastating. We need your help for these women!

Donations are critical to our ongoing success. The Breast Center handles more than 20,000 visits annually. The CBC must expand to meet rapidly growing specialized health care demands. Donations pay an increasingly important role in our ability to support the efforts of radiologists and educators while also providing comprehensive, high-quality patient care.

• Nurture leading –edge innovation and outcomes
• Support the acquisition of state-of-the-art medical equipment
• Help develop women's breast health awareness programs regionally and in our community

The CBC is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

Donate Your Time / Volunteer

The Charleston Breast Center depends on our volunteers to help with various projects and events. We also need help on our event planning committee as well as other support committees. Naming Opportunities and Plaques

Memorials / Honorariums

Make a thoughtful gift "In Memory" or "In Honor" of a family member, friend or co-worker. A beautiful card will be sent to the family as a notification of your "In Memory" gift and a note sent for your "In Honor" gift. You might also want to make a gift "In Honor" of a Birthday, Wedding, Anniversary, Graduation, etc. We will be happy to send notification to the person you made the gift "In Honor" of.

Sponsorships

Become a Partner with the Charleston Breast Center as a Sponsor for one of our major events. Events include a tennis tournament, Dine and Drink in the Pink events throughout the Lowcountry, a golf tournament, and more. We will work with you on many marketing and promotional benefits packages. Work Place Matching Gifts

The organization or company you work for may have a matching gift program that could double or triple your gift to the Charleston Breast Center. If you are not sure whether your work place has this program in place, please find out or call us and we'll work with you to get this information. Usually the matching gift forms to make the request are available from the Human Resources Department or on your company's web site. Let us know if we can help!

Work Place Giving / Trident United Way

Many businesses, corporations and government agencies have workplace campaigns through which an employee may contribute to the charity of their choice. The Charleston Breast Center is currently the recipient in some of these plans. Please consider designating your gift to the CBC through your workplace program. If the CBC is not already designated as a charity, please inquire if we may be added.

Planned / Estate Giving

This includes cash, real estate, personal property, investments, retirement funds, life insurance, and other forms of assets. Properly planning your estate ensures that your assets that you have accumulated over a lifetime are distributed according to your wishes.

As you are making these plans, we ask that you consider making a provision to support the Charleston Breast Center. Charitable gifts made by bequest are not taxed as part of your estate. Perhaps most appealing is the idea that your legacy of helping people in your community will live on for future generations.

The Charleston Breast Center (CBC) is fortunate to be the recipient of a tremendous outpouring of community support. Individuals, businesses and organizations have realized the importance of the Center for the community as an independent, state-of-the-art, community-based, nonprofit breast health center. Many have come forward in a leadership role to partner with the Charleston Breast Center to continue to raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer as well as benefit the CBC through fundraising events.
